Speedy: A Portrait of the indian highway

Looking at the disparity and chaos on the Indian road, the introduction of the Tata Nano car ignited a critique about the divide between the 2 wheeler and 4-wheeler world’s that cross each other in India.
Inspired by the Ambassador series by Raghubir Singh, I was capturing, through the windows of an air-conditioned luxury car. Particularly focusing on its variety, humour, chaos and order within archive of imagery covers the span of east to west, north to south of the Indian road culture and its fast changing identity.
Installing them on rearview mirrors allow to view them in hindsight.
