This long-term project follows amateur women boxers throughout a 10 month journey.
I followed the fighters from Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx and Long Island exploring the female body, strength, independence in the arena of life. This was my first body of work.
In this intimate account of the female fighter, I was experimenting in the darkroom with film processing, to render the deepest black.
