My artistic approaches evolving relationships, infusing multiple subjects, musings, academic discourse and interaction with community in cultural productions as an dialogical works using lens based media.

The last decade of artistic exploration and practice has been a self-motivated quest navigating my inherent vernacular outlook and aesthetic within the context of photography in contemporary art. Throughout my experiences and education, my work has shed many labels and built upon others as art has provided a language of identity - a medium to respond to the times through creativity.

Therefore till now, I was inspired by a self-sustained expression drawn from deep within during this time of continuous intuitive production. Subsequently, I have remained entrenched in the grassroots of my locality, as my path was experimenting not exhibiting. Thus discovering an audience in the grassroots, organic systems and hyper-local exchange.

In the past, I have incorporated mediums such as dance-theatre, video, community, fashion, independent design, ceramics and elements of food into my inquiry to dissect the two dimensional gridlock of pure photography. Whether alone or in collaborative spaces, a consistent focus on these dissections is the underlying theme across all my projects.

I have learnt through embracing collaborations with fellow female artists, exploring topics steeped in scrutinizing the female form and her relational politics across the globe. I believe the power of female autonomy allows for a union of a gentle dialogical nature, rich engagement and an experience in accommodative creativity of great magnitude.

Currently, Co-Creation is my path, whether it be a with a material, being or force. My current approach is exploring the unknown, post-colonial palimpsest of representation, language, translation, transparency, documentation, sharing, collaborating and creating as a responsive medium and message of my ongoing practice.
